Battlefield Studios, in partnership with Electronic Arts (EA), has launched Battlefield Labs – a revolutionary player testing and feedback platform designed to directly involve the community in shaping future Battlefield installments. Announced on February 3, 2025, this initiative marks a significant step towards collaborative game development.

The upcoming Battlefield game is entering a crucial development phase, and Battlefield Studios recognizes the invaluable contribution of player feedback. Selected players from European and North American servers will be the first to experience Battlefield Labs, providing hands-on testing of new features and mechanics. While participation is initially limited, Battlefield Studios assures the broader community will receive regular updates throughout the testing process. Future Battlefield titles will also benefit from this ongoing community collaboration. The development team comprises DICE (creators of the Battlefield franchise), Ripple Effect, Motive (developers of Star Wars Squadrons and Dead Space), and Criterion.
