Does Pity Carry Over in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium? Answered

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?

Developed by Sunborn, Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium is a free-to-play tactical RPG with gacha mechanics available on PC and mobile. A common question among players revolves around the pity system and whether progress carries over between banners. Let's clarify.

Does the Pity Counter Transfer to Subsequent Banners?

Yes! Your pity counter and pulls from one limited-time banner in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium will transfer to the next limited-time banner.

For instance, during the global launch, the simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners shared a pity counter. Pulling on either banner increased the counter for both. This means you could maximize your chances; if you're close to pity on one banner, switch to the other and potentially secure a 50/50 chance at the featured character immediately.

This shared pity system applies to all future limited-time banners, confirmed by Chinese players on Reddit. Any pity progress accumulated on past limited banners will carry over to the newest ones.

Important Note: Pity does not carry over between limited and standard banners. You cannot manipulate the system by pulling on the standard banner until near pity and then switching to a limited banner for a guaranteed pull.

Soft and Hard Pity Explained

While the hard pity is 80 pulls, a soft pity system begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances of obtaining one gradually increase with each subsequent pull until you reach hard pity at 80 pulls.

Hopefully, this clarifies the pity system in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox locations, check out The Escapist.
