Звезда «Балли — охотница на вампиров» Сара Мичелл Геллар поделилась видеороликом из-за кадра, в котором поклонники впервые увидели её вместе с Райан Кира Армстронг — новой главной актрисой ребута франшизы на Hulu.

Две актрисы изображают две эпохи Балли: Геллар передаст мантию Охотницы на вампиров Армстронг — впервые появившейся в «Звездных войнах: Костяк команды» — в первом эпизоде предстоящего ребута.

Видеозапись, опубликованная Геллар в Instagram, запечатлела пару во время тренировок перед съемками пилота. Ранее Геллар уже делилась скриншотом звонка, в котором объявила о кастинге Армстронг, но это первый случай, когда обе актрисы впервые встретились на экране.

Ожидается, что Армстронг сыграет новую Охотницу по имени Нова, тогда как Геллар вернётся к своей культовой роли Балли в пилоте, а затем перейдёт в повторяющуюся роль в будущих эпизодах — при условии, что остальная часть сезона получит одобрение Hulu. Официальных сведений о возвращении других персонажей помимо самой Балли пока нет, но Геллар, которая также является исполнительным продюсером, выразила надежду на возвращение классических фигур.
