One of the best monitors I reviewed this year, it's available for under $300 and provides blacks nearly as deep as OLED using an IPS panel. It achieves a peak HDR brightness of around 1,000 nits for full-screen whites and well over 1,000 nits for highlights, ideal for HDR gaming. It also employs quantum dots for enhanced color accuracy, perfect for creators.

Its mini-LED backlight with 1,152 local dimming zones outperforms monitors twice its price. Blooming is present but minimized, and the blacks are deep while highlights and colors are vibrant, closely mimicking OLED without the risks.

To maintain its low price, it lacks additional features like a built-in USB hub or KVM, and gaming features are sparse in its OSD. For those seeking precise color accuracy, calibration with a colorimeter is recommended. Despite these minor limitations, it's an exceptional value.

How To Pick the Best OLED Monitor

When choosing the perfect OLED monitor, consider the size that suits your needs. OLED monitors range from compact 24-inch models to expansive 55-inch screens. Think about your desk space and intended use. Graphic designers and video editors may prefer larger, higher-resolution screens like 4K for detailed work, while gamers might prioritize refresh rates and response times over size.

Also, consider the monitor's features and connectivity. Do you need multiple HDMI ports for various devices? What about USB-C for data transfer and charging? Some models come with built-in speakers, adjustable stands, and HDR support for enhanced color and contrast. Make a list of essential features and prioritize them.
