About the Game

Chinese Checkers, also known as Sternhalma or Chinese Chequers, is a classic strategy board game with origins in Germany. Played on a distinctive star-shaped board by 2 to 6 participants, the objective is simple yet challenging: move all your pieces from your starting corner to the opposite side of the board.

Game Modes

This application supports both online and offline gameplay:

• Online Play: Challenge a random opponent or host a private game. Invite friends by sharing a unique code to join your match.
• Offline Play: Compete against the computer AI or play locally with another person on the same device. You can customize the number of participants, such as playing solo against one bot or facing off against five bots simultaneously.

AI Bots

The app features three distinct difficulty levels:

• Weak Bot: Ideal for beginners. This AI frequently makes suboptimal moves, helping new players learn the game mechanics.
• Medium Bot: A balanced challenge that is smarter than the weak bot but still beatable by experienced players.
• Strong Bot: Designed for veterans. Defeating this AI requires strategic depth and careful planning.

Your Profile

To customize your identity in online matches, click the person icon located at the bottom-right corner of the main screen. Here, you can set a display name and choose from various avatars to represent yourself.

Settings & Customization

Access the Settings menu via the gear icon on the home page to tailor your gaming experience:

• Sounds: Adjust volumes for interface sounds (clicks, moves, game end) and background music independently.
• Music: Select from a variety of background tracks.
• Themes: Personalize the look with different interface and board themes.
• Super Mode: Enable or disable Super Chinese Checkers for faster gameplay.
• Cheating Mode: Toggle the display of all possible moves to assist in decision-making.
