"Spider-Man Series on Disney+ Renewed for Two More Seasons"

The eagerly anticipated Disney+ animated series, *Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man*, focusing on Peter Parker's first year in high school, has already been greenlit for both a Season 2 and Season 3. In a recent interview with The Movie Podcast, Brad Winderbaum, Marvel Studios' head of streaming, television, and animation, shared exciting updates about the series. Despite Season 1 not premiering until January 29, Winderbaum revealed that Season 2's scripts are complete and half of its animated storyboards are finished. Moreover, Season 3 has also been officially greenlit.

Winderbaum expressed his deep affection for the characters, stating, "I've fallen so head over heels in love with these characters and I've now read all of the scripts for Season 2; we're halfway through the animatics." He praised lead writer and executive producer Jeff Trammell's meticulous storytelling, noting, "What [Trammell] is building brick by brick in this show starts to pay off. And you feel it in Season 1. You grow connected to these characters so that when everything starts to lock into place and pay off by the end of the season. I feel it in my very soul and it just gets deeper and deeper in subsequent seasons."
