After ten years of meticulous development, Super Nintendo World has emerged as a dazzling reality, bringing to life interactive attractions, themed dining, and retail experiences across locations in Japan, Los Angeles, Florida – with Singapore soon to follow. With Universal's Epic Universe theme park preparing to open in Orlando (including the debut of the Donkey Kong Country expansion's first U.S. installation), I had the privilege of speaking with gaming icon Shigeru Miyamoto. The visionary behind Mario, Donkey Kong and countless other classics shared insights about bringing these parks to life, mentoring Nintendo's new generation of developers, and his enthusiasm for the forthcoming Nintendo Switch successor.
