Monster Hunter Now Unveils Spring Hunt 2025 Update!

Monster Hunter Now is set to elevate your gaming experience with the launch of the Spring Hunt 2025, a special paid online event running from May 24th to May 25th, 2025. This event is part of the second update in Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, and it's all about the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos.

What’s the Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now?

To participate in the Spring Hunt 2025, you'll need an event ticket available in the Monster Hunter Now shop. This ticket unlocks continuous Elder Dragon Interceptions focused solely on Chameleos, eliminating any wait times between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons. Plus, you'll have the chance to earn some exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear.

The event also introduces the Event Exchange Hubs. You'll have access to two hubs: the Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub, open from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. By hunting large monsters or elder dragons from May 19th to May 25th, you can collect tokens. These tokens can then be traded for valuable items like the Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.

Eager to Get Your Hands on Chameleos?

Chameleos is notorious for its stealthy maneuvers and the disorienting fog it emits, which can obscure your vision. From May 24th, 2025, you can engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions to confront this vanishing menace. Players ranked 100 or above can encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions during their preliminary state, starting at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. To tackle Chameleos effectively, arm yourself with weapons that exploit its weaknesses to Fire, Dragon, and Blast.

Defeating Chameleos allows you to craft the new Mizuha Set armor, featuring the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill reduces the duration of poison and venom effects on you by half and enhances your ability to inflict poison on enemies. Additionally, using Chameleos materials, you can forge a wide range of weapons including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow.
