Lego has unveiled an exciting range of A Minecraft Movie sets, offering a sneak peek into the mobs and scenes fans can anticipate in the upcoming Jack Black-led live-action film. These sets, which include the Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring and The Ghast Balloon Village Attack, are set to hit the shelves on March 1, a month ahead of the movie's premiere on April 4.

The Woodland Mansion Fighting Ring set, priced at $49.99 and comprising 491 pieces, hints at an epic gladiator-style battle scene in the film. It features Jason Momoa's character, The Garbage Man, engaging in combat with a zombie riding a giant chicken. While it's unclear whether this represents a baby zombie on a regular-sized chicken or a larger-than-life scenario, the set includes additional figures such as Steve, his friend Henry, and a giant zombie pigman, along with a fighting ring, a chest full of gold, and a viewing stand equipped with weapons.

On the other hand, The Ghast Balloon Village Attack set, retailing at $69.99 with 555 pieces, suggests that the Nether's iconic marshmallow-like Ghast will also appear in the film. This set depicts a significant battle scene in a typical overworld village, featuring a village minifigure, two piglins, Steve, Natalie, Dawn, and an iron golem, promising an action-packed cinematic experience.

The film, which was officially unveiled in September, faced immediate backlash from fans concerned about the visual coherence between live-action characters and the animated world. In response to this criticism, the director and producer, in an interview with IGN in November, acknowledged the feedback but reassured fans that they were prepared for all challenges and committed to delivering a compelling movie experience.
