KEMCO Launches Metro Quester: A New Mobile RPG with Hack & Slash Dungeon Exploration

Metro Quester – Hack & Slash is now available on Android, offering a unique dungeon exploring RPG experience that diverges from the usual KEMCO title. While it maintains the essence of a turn-based JRPG, it dives deeper into the realm of gritty, old-school dungeon crawling.

Seek the Truth of a Lost World

In the world of Metro Quester, you and your crew are scavengers tasked with exploring underground ruins to gather resources before your weekly food quota runs out. The critical number to remember is 100 - you need to collect 100 food units every seven in-game days to survive.

Your journey takes you through monster-infested ruins in areas like Otemachi and Ginza, searching for leftovers. However, you can only level up once you return to a proper camp, provided you've survived and gathered enough resources.

With 24 characters to choose from, each belonging to one of eight distinct classes, Metro Quester allows you to customize your combo skills, weapons, and strategies. Each ability consumes action points, and you have a limit of five points per turn, with each ability usable only once per round. Strategic planning is essential.

The dungeon in Metro Quester unfolds as you explore, revealing hidden food caches, monster nests, keys to unlock new areas, and occasionally, campgrounds where you can establish a new base.

Metro Quester – Hack & Slash Is Now Out on Android

The game's visual style is intentionally minimalistic, with a bleak and colorless environment that starkly contrasts with your vibrant team. You can get a glimpse of the game's atmosphere right here.

For those who enjoy replaying games with increased difficulty, Metro Quester offers a NEW GAME+ mode once you've completed the main content.

Metro Quester – Hack & Slash is available on Android for $14.99. Note that it does not support game controllers and is offered in English and Japanese. You can find it on the Google Play Store.
