inZoi's Coming to PS5 Next Year, But An Xbox Release Is Only 'Under Consideration' For Now

Impressive-looking life sim inZoi is set to launch on PS5 next year, sometime in 2026 — though an Xbox release remains uncertain.

While publisher Krafton couldn't offer any additional information on the release beyond this — meaning we still lack even an approximate window, let alone a confirmed date — it did state in a social media post that the team "is working hard to bring you the best possible experience on PS5."

It also confirmed that an Xbox release "is also under consideration, but not yet confirmed." Sorry, Xbox fans.

inZoi is a life simulation game where players take on the role of a god, shaping the world as they please and uncovering endless new stories through diverse forms of life. Its first free DLC, Island Getaway, will launch on August 20, coinciding with the game’s debut on Mac.

inZoi says the Southeast Asia-inspired map was "shaped by feedback from our players, going all the way back to [the] Early Access launch earlier this year." Alongside the new dual-island map Cahaya, players will gain fresh activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and farming.

IGN's inZoi review gave it a 6/10. We said: "inZoi is a visually striking life simulator with plenty of ambition, but not enough depth as of its Early Access launch."

Last month, publisher Krafton addressed an ongoing debate about its declining Steam concurrent player count, insisting that for a single-player game, sales are a better measure of success.
