If you're not up to speed with the narrative in Helldivers 2, here's a quick recap: developer Arrowhead has reintroduced the Illuminate, pushing the boundaries of galactic warfare as the latest threat to Super Earth. This eerie foe is using a massive black hole to slowly consume entire planets, advancing towards Angel's Venture and now Moradesh. Ironically, the black hole was initially created on Meridian by Super Earth in an attempt to eradicate a Terminid Super Colony. Arrowhead's penchant for evolving the outcomes of galactic campaigns has led to the current situation, with the Illuminate edging a black hole closer to Super Earth.

Reddit user Pinglyadya shared an image of what appears to be an egg hidden in the Moradesh videos. In the comments, they further deciphered potential Morse code strings into dots and dashes, suggesting a series of codes: "045a5, 06efbc, e1b5f0 then 21232. We don't know what this is the code to but have fun."

The "06EFBC" code gained attention in another thread, as it might correspond to the hex code for a shade of teal called Last Straw, which sounds ominously significant. While nothing concrete has emerged beyond this, many fans are convinced that these messages contain hidden secrets.

It wouldn't be the first time players have scoured Arrowhead's updates for secrets. With the Meridian Singularity slowly approaching Super Earth, one wonders if Helldivers have the luxury of time to pursue these mysteries.

Since Moradesh's destruction, Arrowhead has issued a new Major Order for players, tasking them with defending planets to enable Super Earth to construct a Penrose Energy Siphon for a "one-time reduction" in Dark Energy Accumulation.

This is all part of Helldivers 2's ongoing, community-driven Galactic War, which has captivated the game's community for over a year. The Illuminate's invasion began in December, introducing new enemies and new Super Earth colonies with urban environments. These city streets are filled with innocent civilians, the Voteless, mind-controlled by the Illuminate and turned into little more than zombies bent on dismembering players.
