The excitement at Star Wars Celebration reached new heights with the announcement that Hayden Christensen will reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker in Season 2 of the Ahsoka series. This thrilling news promises more adventures for fans as Ahsoka Tano's journey with her former master continues.

During the Ahsoka panel at the event, Christensen expressed his enthusiasm about returning to the iconic role. "It was a dream to get to do," he remarked, highlighting the innovative approach to his character's reintroduction through the World Between Worlds. "The way they conceived how to do it was brilliant... I thought it was all really exciting."

Ahsoka's creator, Dave Filoni, humorously noted the lengths he went to collaborate with Christensen again, saying, "I had to invent entire dimensions to make it happen." Their discussions delved deep into Anakin's activities during the Clone Wars, a period well-documented in animation but now set to be explored in live-action. Christensen shared his excitement about this transition, stating, "As much as I love the traditional Jedi robes I wore during the prequels, it was exciting to get to see Anakin with a new look."

PlayFurther into the panel, Filoni discussed how their previous collaborations with George Lucas influenced their approach to bringing Anakin back. This shared history allowed them to enhance their understanding and portrayal of the character. Christensen added a light-hearted comment, echoing Lucas's famous directive, "I always have George's voice in the back of my head saying, 'faster, more intense!'"
