Square Enix's 4v4 shooter, Foamstars, goes free-to-play this fall! Originally a premium title, the game will be available at no cost starting October 4th, 2024, at 1:00 a.m. UTC. This exciting announcement also eliminates the need for a PlayStation Plus subscription to play.

This shift to a free-to-play model means players can jump into the action without an upfront cost. For those who already own Foamstars, Square Enix is offering a special "Legacy Gift" as a thank you. This exclusive bundle includes twelve unique Bubble Beastie skins, a custom slide board design, and the prestigious "Legacy" title.
