Here's the official description:

Civilization VII - VR brings the world of Civilization to life as never before. The game unfolds on a Command Table, allowing players to zoom in for intricate details or survey the entire landscape from above. Interact directly with world leaders, forging alliances or declaring war across the ages.

Play in immersive VR or mixed reality, seamlessly switching between modes. VR transports players to a personalized museum overlooking their leader's domain; mixed reality adapts the Command Table to your physical space. Detailed dioramas showcasing gameplay achievements are viewable in The Archives, accessible in both VR and mixed reality. Engage in online multiplayer matches with up to three other players.

The PC and console versions of Civilization VII, currently available via early access, have received mixed player feedback on Steam, citing UI concerns, limited map variety, and missing features.

Firaxis has acknowledged this feedback, pledging improvements to the UI, the addition of team-based multiplayer, expanded map types, and more.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, in an interview with IGN, addressed the negative reviews, expressing confidence that the core Civilization fanbase will embrace the game with continued play and describing the early performance as "very encouraging."
