Funcom announced this on their official website on April 25, dedicating a weekend to a global beta test for Dune: Awakening. Alongside this announcement, they released a captivating new trailer that showcases some of the game's cinematic cutscenes and intriguing story snippets.

The beta test promises to welcome a substantial number of new players and, unlike previous closed betas, will be free from an NDA. This means participants can freely share their experiences and even stream their gameplay online.
