Clash Royale is gearing up for a grand celebration as it marks its 9th birthday at the Arena! The 9th birthday season promises an array of exciting challenges, a new Evolution, and free chests for all players to enjoy.

Grab Your Decks Because the Hunter Just Got an Upgrade!

The Hunter is taking center stage with a game-changing upgrade that revolutionizes his battlefield control. The Hunter's Evolution now features a Net that ensnares the nearest enemy troop, immobilizing them and preventing any attacks. If the trapped troop is airborne, it gets pulled down to the ground, making it susceptible to ground-based assaults. This makes the Hunter Evolution a strategic asset for thwarting enemy advances or bolstering win-condition troops like the Royal Giant.

However, every card has its kryptonite. The Ice Spirit or Ice Golem can interrupt the Hunter before he unleashes his ability, so it's wise to steer clear of these counters and hope luck is on your side!

The Clash Royale 9th Birthday Season is Filled with Events and Challenges

The season is packed with thrilling events. Kicking off with the Hunter Evolution Draft from March 3rd to 10th, you can experiment with deck-building using Card Evolutions. Following this, Evolutions Mayhem runs from March 10th to 17th, allowing you to include up to four Evolution Cards in your deck.

Next up, the Champion Triple Draft takes place from March 17th to 24th, offering a strategic draft-based battle format. Then, from March 24th to 31st, the Mirror, Mirror challenge levels the playing field by providing both players with identical decks.

Wrapping up the season, Evolutions Mayhem makes a comeback from March 31st to April 7th, this time allowing up to eight Evolution Cards for an even greater impact. Each of these challenges comes with its own set of rewards, including Banner Frames, Banner Decorations, and Season Tokens.

To sweeten the deal, Clash Royale's birthday means free gifts are up for grabs in the Supercell Store. Players in Arenas 2-10 can claim a free King's Chest, while those in Arena 11 and above will receive a Legendary King's Chest.
