Jack Quaid, known for his role in *The Boys*, expressed his enthusiasm for potentially starring in a *BioShock* movie during a Reddit AMA aligned with the release of his latest film, *Novocaine*. Quaid praised the game, describing it as one of his all-time favorites due to its "rich lore" which he believes could be brilliantly adapted into a TV or movie format.

The possibility of a *BioShock* film has been a topic of interest, especially after producer Roy Lee mentioned last July that the project had undergone significant changes due to shifts in leadership and budget constraints from Netflix. The adaptation is now envisioned to be a more personal narrative, a departure from the initially grander scope. Despite these changes, details about the plot remain under wraps. Notably, Francis Lawrence, known for directing *The Hunger Games*, remains attached to helm the project.

Quaid's resemblance to video game character Max Payne, whose likeness is inspired by Remedy writer Sam Lake, has sparked discussions among fans, particularly with certain scenes from *Novocaine* drawing comparisons to the *Max Payne* series. However, Quaid admitted to being less familiar with *Max Payne*, despite recognizing the resemblance and expressing interest in playing the game, which is currently being remade by Remedy in collaboration with Rockstar.

Beyond *BioShock*, Quaid revealed his passion for video games, particularly those developed by FromSoftware. He shared his experiences tackling challenging titles like *Bloodborne*, *Sekiro*, and *Elden Ring*, emphasizing his love for the demanding nature of these games. Quaid also mentioned using Reddit as a resource for tips and tricks to conquer FromSoftware's notoriously difficult bosses.
