Anno 117: Pax Romana Trailer Released Roman Empire Expansion Gameplay

Ubisoft Mainz has recently shared exciting new details about their upcoming game, Anno 117: Pax Romana, through a captivating trailer. Initially, the game was set to explore two distinct regions: Lazio and Albion. However, the latest preview suggests that Lazio serves as the initial setting, setting the stage for the main adventure in Albion.

Creative Director Manuel Rainer explains that Lazio starts off as a tranquil region, but a sudden disaster forces players to venture into uncharted territories. These territories are none other than Britain, known in the game as Albion, which presents players with a host of challenges including a harsh climate, rebellious tribes, and the logistical difficulties posed by its distance from Rome.

In Anno 117: Pax Romana, players take on the role of a governor, tasked with navigating these challenges without relying solely on force. Instead, players can strive to build peace by respecting and integrating with local customs. One of the game's innovative features is the ability to customize ships, allowing players to strategically choose between speed enhancements with oarsmen or increased firepower with onboard archery turrets.

Anno 117: Pax Romana is scheduled to launch in 2025, and will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X platforms. This game promises a rich and immersive experience, blending strategic gameplay with historical settings.
