Honkai Impact 3rd v8.1 Update 'Drumming in New Resolutions' Released

Excitement is building as Honkai Impact 3rd gears up to launch its v8.1 update, "Drumming in New Resolutions," on February 20th. This update promises an array of new battlesuits, stunning outfits, and special anniversary rewards that players won’t want to miss.

What’s New in v8.1

Kiana returns with a bang in her new SD-type battlesuit, Ba-Dum! Fiery Wishing Star. With a long staff in hand, she unleashes a 4-sequence attack that inflicts Fire DMG and applies Passion Marks, leading to impressive AOE damage. Her recommended weapon and PRI-ARM enhance her fiery prowess, ensuring enemies feel the heat. Meanwhile, Herrscher of Human: Ego is equipped with new gear, including a recommended Divine Key, PRI-ARM, and a matching stigmata set.

On the story front, v8.1 delves deeper into Leylah’s narrative. Post the Spring Festival dream crisis in v8.0, Kiana re-enters the real world, teaming up with Rice Cake for a new mission from Theresa. Their destination? The Moon Base for a festive celebration. By playing through the interlude, players can earn Crystals, Source Prisms, and other valuable rewards.

Adding to the fun, players can engage with a new board to collect Yearly Chibis for team building and accumulate shop tokens to exchange for Crystals, Coralie’s new outfit, and a variety of other enticing rewards.

New Outfits and Styles

In addition to Kiana and Herrscher of Human: Ego, other characters are also getting fresh looks. Coralie, Luna, and Vita are stepping into the spotlight with new outfits. Luna’s new look can be obtained through spend bonuses, while Vita’s outfit will be available in Outfit Supply.

Anniversary Rewards Galore

The v8.1 update is also a celebration, bringing with it a slew of anniversary rewards. Simply logging in daily for seven days after the update will grant players a Prism Stigma Direct Level-Up Coupon, an anniversary emblem, and more. Keep the login streak going for another seven days, and you’ll unlock Kiana’s Stigma Option, Herrscher of Human’s new Stigma Option, and 10 Equipment Supply Cards.

From February 25th to March 4th, daily logins will reward players with an S-rank Battlesuit Option, Battlesuit Supply Cards, Crystals, and other goodies. As a token of appreciation, every player will receive five Battlesuit Supply Cards when the update goes live.
