Ringtone Maker is a versatile and user-friendly app designed to help you craft personalized ringtones, alarms, and notifications from a variety of audio sources, including MP3, FLAC, OGG, WAV, AAC(M4A)/MP4, 3GPP/AMR, and MIDI files. With this free app, you can easily snip the perfect segment of your favorite song and save it as your Ringtone, Alarm, Music File, or Notification Tone, making your device uniquely yours.
Creating your own ringtones is both fast and straightforward. You can set the start and end points of your audio clip by sliding arrows along the timeline, pressing Start and End buttons to mark the points, or entering specific time stamps. Ringtone Maker also serves as a comprehensive music editor, alarm tone maker, ringtone cutter, and notification tone creator, offering a range of functionalities to meet your audio customization needs.
Beyond manipulating existing music files, you can record your own voice or that of your children and transform these recordings into personalized ringtones or notifications. It's a delightful way to be reminded of calls with the sound of your child's voice.
For those seeking an ad-free experience, consider the paid version of the app, available at this link.
The Android system may take time to update its music database after downloading new music. To force an update, use the "Scan" menu within "Ringtone Maker". Note that Google Play Music files are not displayed as they are hidden in a special way that other apps can't access. As a workaround, you can access Google Music via the Chrome browser on your phone by selecting the desktop site, choosing your song, clicking the three dots, and downloading the song to your device. You can then use "Ringtone Maker" to find and edit the downloaded file.
Ringtones and music downloads within the Ringtone Maker app are covered under public domain licenses and/or Creative Commons licenses, with appropriate credits provided within the app.
