Xbox January Developer Direct Will Reveal a Surprise Game

Xbox's Developer_Direct returns January 23rd, 2025, showcasing highly anticipated titles, including a mystery game! This in-depth look at upcoming Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass games will be presented by the developers themselves.

Four Games to Watch:

The Developer_Direct features four games, three of which have been revealed:

• South of Midnight (Compulsion Games): An action-adventure game set in a mystical American South, where players, as Hazel, must master magic ("Weaving") to combat mythical creatures and rescue her mother. Release: 2025 on Xbox Series X|S and Steam.

• Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Sandfall Interactive): A turn-based RPG with real-time combat mechanics. Players join Gustave and Lune in a fantasy world where a Paintress erases people, embarking on a quest to stop her. Release: 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Steam, and Epic Store.

• DOOM: The Dark Ages (id Software): A prequel to Doom (2016), this single-player FPS casts players as the Doom Slayer in a techno-medieval setting, battling hellish forces. Release: 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Steam.
