Xbox Game Pass Drops Six Games, Including Popular Multiplayer Titles

Six Xbox Game Pass titles are departing on January 15th, primarily impacting multiplayer game enthusiasts. This bi-monthly content rotation is typical for Xbox Game Pass, with the last removal wave occurring on December 31st.

The games leaving on January 15th include: Escape Academy, Those Who Remain, Exoprimal, Insurgency: Sandstorm, Figment: Journey Into the Mind, and Common'hood. Half of these are multiplayer focused, with Escape Academy offering a popular co-op mode. Escape Academy has been available on Xbox Game Pass since July 2022.

While removal times vary, most games are typically removed near the end of the day. PC players should note that Escape Academy will be free on the Epic Games Store starting January 16th.

The next wave of removals is anticipated on January 31st, with announcements expected alongside the January 2025 Wave 2 lineup. Confirmed day-one additions for January 31st include Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector. Further updates are expected around January 23rd, coinciding with the Xbox Developer Direct.
