Xbox Game Pass May 2025 Wave 1: Confirmed Lineup

Microsoft has unveiled the exciting lineup for Xbox Game Pass Wave 1 in May 2025, featuring a diverse selection of 12 games set to join the service through May 20. The highlight of this wave is undoubtedly Doom: The Dark Ages, the latest installment in id Software's renowned first-person shooter series, which will be available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass as a day-one launch.

Starting today, May 6, subscribers can dive into Dredge (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S), available across Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. Microsoft describes Dredge as:

A single-player fishing adventure with a sinister undercurrent. Sell your catch, upgrade your boat, and dredge the depths for long-buried secrets. Explore a mysterious archipelago and discover why some things are best left forgotten.

On May 7, the service will expand with multiple titles: Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC) on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard; Dungeons of Hinterberg (Console) on Game Pass Standard; Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (Xbox Series X|S) on Game Pass Standard; and Metal Slug Tactics (Console) on Game Pass Standard.

May 8 will see the addition of Revenge of the Savage Planet (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) as a day-one title on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Microsoft's description of the game reads:

Moving to May 13, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (Cloud and Console) will return to Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass Standard. Microsoft highlights:

Finally, wrapping up the Wave 1 lineup on May 20, Firefighting Simulator: The Squad and Police Simulator: Patrol Officers (both Cloud, Console, and PC) will be added to Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard.
