Warframe Android Closed Beta Set for Fall 2025

Warframe, the multiplayer action shooter RPG by Digital Extremes, debuted on iOS in February 2024. Following its release, Android pre-registration opened, and now the game is gearing up for its first Android closed beta test.

Details on Warframe’s Android Closed Beta

Announced during Day 2 of TennoCon 2025, the beta is slated for Fall 2025. Digital Extremes will send invitations to the email linked to your Warframe account, similar to the iOS beta process.

If you don’t have a Warframe account yet, create one or pre-register via the official website.

Beta participants will enjoy the complete Warframe experience, with confirmed controller support for devices like DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and USB-based options such as Razer Kishi or Backbone.

However, the beta has limitations: cross-platform play and voice chat won’t be available, and monetization features will be absent, unlike the main game.

Progress made during the beta will not transfer to the full mobile release, as all data will be reset post-testing.

Anticipating Warframe on Android?

Warframe, first announced for mobile in 2021, is a third-person shooter featuring five expansions and over 30 story-driven quests. Players can unlock more than 57 Warframes and explore an expansive universe, all free to play.

Pre-register now on the Google Play Store to receive the Cumulus Collection upon the game’s Android launch.
