War Thunder Mobile's Open Beta: Take to the Skies!

Gaijin Entertainment has launched the open beta for aircraft battles in War Thunder Mobile, delivering intense aerial combat. This update introduces over 100 planes from three nations (USA, Germany, and USSR), with more to come. While aircraft previously played supporting roles, this beta introduces a full-fledged aerial tech tree and a dedicated air combat mode.

Explore Iconic Aircraft and Expand Your Arsenal

The open beta features iconic aircraft such as the P-51 Mustang, Messerschmitt Bf 109, and La-5. Players can focus on a single nation's tech tree or diversify their fleet by progressing through multiple. High-ranking aircraft can be acquired via blueprints earned in in-game events, starting in early October.

The New Aviation Campaign Awaits

The open beta unlocks the Aviation campaign, allowing players to manage their aircraft hangar, research tech trees, and upgrade crews. Squadrons of up to four aircraft can be formed, with customization options for aircraft and armaments. See the action in the trailer below!

The aircraft hangar serves as the central hub between battles. Here, players can manage vehicles, select camouflage, explore the tech tree, and invite friends to squads. Each aircraft slot offers options to swap vehicles, modify armaments, or upgrade crews. Squadrons can be built using any available aircraft, regardless of class, nation, or rank.
