Fortnite is gearing up for a visit from several artists and performers, with the highly anticipated arrival of Vocaloid Hatsune Miku on the horizon. Recent social media interactions have generated significant buzz among players.
The official Fortnite Festival account playfully reported having Miku's backpack, while Hatsune Miku's account conversely tweeted about its disappearance, prompting a humorous search for the missing item. Beyond the standard Miku skin and a virtual concert, leaks suggest additional items such as a unique pickaxe and a "Miku the Catgirl" skin variant are also in the works.
The launch is currently scheduled for January 14th.
On a separate note, a reminder about fair play: In late December, professional Fortnite player Seb Araujo was accused of using cheat software, specifically aimbot and wallhacks, to gain an unfair advantage and win thousands of dollars in prize money. Epic Games' lawsuit alleges this gave Araujo an insurmountable lead over players who adhered to the rules. The complaint highlights the significant financial gains Araujo allegedly achieved through dishonest means.
