Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2's release has been pushed back to October 2025. The announcement was made on March 26 via the game's official Twitter (X) account, accompanied by a video update.

In the video, Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann shared insights on the game's development, stating, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases."

Paradox has been keeping the community informed with Dev Diaries over the past few months, covering characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to focus on improving the game, all Dev Diaries will be paused until further notice.

First Revealed in 2019

Originally unveiled in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially slated for a March 2020 release under the development of Hardsuit Labs. However, delays started in October 2019, pushing the release to an unspecified date in 2020, and then to 2021.

During this time, several key team members departed the project. In February 2021, Paradox Interactive announced that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be involved, and The Chinese Room would take over development. The game's release was then anticipated for late 2024, followed by a shift to the first half of 2025, and now it's scheduled for late 2025.
