Upcoming Platformer Puzzle "Buttered Cat" Features Feline with Butter Addiction

A charming new game, Cato: Buttered Cat, is poised for an Android release. The name itself is a playful combination of "cat" and "toast," perfectly reflecting the game's quirky premise.

Ever wondered about the physics of a buttered toast strapped to a cat's back? The developers of Cato: Buttered Cat did, and the result is a delightful, perpetual anti-gravity spin!

Initially conceived for the 2022 BOOOM Gamejam (hosted by GCORES) by Team Woll, the game's positive reception led to its full development. Currently available on Steam for PC, an Android version is forthcoming. While the Google Play Store listing isn't yet live, pre-registration is open on the official TapTap page.

This puzzle platformer features a cat and a piece of buttered toast as the central duo. Players solve puzzles, battle enemies, and explore whimsical worlds. The game boasts:

• 200 levels, including side quests.
• A fragmented storyline revealed through level progression.
• 30 distinct outfits for the cat.
