Ultimate Arise Crossover Beginner’s Guide (Beta)

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 27,2025

*Arise Crossover* might seem straightforward at first glance, where you gather Shadow units to attack defenseless enemies, aiming to strengthen your roster until you've exhausted all challenges. However, reaching the endgame reveals a complexity that confuses many players about progression, leveling, and unit choices. If you're feeling lost amidst the Shadows, this comprehensive guide is tailored for you.

How Shadows Work in Arise Crossover

In *Arise Crossover*, each of the three islands hosts various recruitable Shadows alongside a formidable dungeon Shadow. Based on their types, **Soondoo is the weakest unit** available right from the start, while **Mifalcon stands as the strongest**, found on the final Brum Island.

However, it's not just about types; **rank is crucial**. A Rank A Soondoo will outperform a Rank D Mifalcon any day. Higher-ranked units have the potential to level up further; a Rank D unit caps at Level 75, whereas an SS Unit can reach Level 200. Your ultimate goal should be assembling a team of four SS-ranked Mifalcons, but the journey to get there is where the real challenge lies.

**Dungeon Portals in *Arise Crossover* spawn every 30 minutes and remain open for 15 minutes**. Even if you enter a portal just before it closes, you're guaranteed to complete the dungeon as it's considered a separate instance.

Portals can appear in various spots across the islands, with their difficulty ranked randomly. **Begin with a team of Rank D units** and tackle a Rank D or C dungeon on Leveling Island. This approach will help you build a solid foundation and possibly snag a rare boss Shadow. **Dungeons are your sole source for recruiting Rare and higher-than-Rank C common units**.

When a portal spawns, **go for it**. If your team isn't up to par, linger near the portal until a more experienced player arrives. Many players can solo dungeons and often don't mind helping others tag along. This community spirit is key to progressing and recruiting higher-ranked Shadows. **We've been boosted through a Rank A dungeon with just Rank C units, which allowed us to recruit Rank A units and reach the endgame**. We encourage you to pay it forward once you're stronger.

Arise Crossover Weapons

During this Beta phase, **player weapons are largely ineffective**. They might offer a marginal advantage early on, but by the time you reach the second island, their impact diminishes significantly.

The **Iron Kando Blade**, the most potent common weapon available, costs 60m and deals 516.1K damage. Comparatively, your units can deal 200 to 400 million damage. **Unless you're keen on spending, hold off on buying weapons** until future updates potentially enhance their role.

How to Get a Mount in Arise Crossover

**Wild mounts spawn every 15 minutes**, with only one player per server able to claim each mount. A server-wide message alerts players to a new mount's appearance, though you won't always be notified if someone else claims it or if it vanishes.

Mounts can appear in **six different locations**: on one of the islands behind the main ones and on smaller islands between the major ones. Check the developer's map for precise spawn points.

You can't claim the same mount twice, and attempts to capture one can fail. **Flying mounts are the rarest with a 10% spawn rate**, ground mounts appear more frequently, and **water mounts are purchasable from the Boat Shop NPC**.

To secure a mount, heed the server message and race across the six spawn locations. If you miss out, simply wait for the next announcement. We're still on the hunt for our Flying mount. While mounts aren't crucial for game progression, **a flying mount significantly eases travel**.

**That's the gist of *Arise Crossover* so far. We'll continue to update this guide as the game evolves. In the meantime, don't forget to check out *Arise Crossover* codes for some free rewards**.
