Ubisoft Fixes AC Origins, Valhalla Windows 11 Issues

We're back with another update on Ubisoft. While upper management continues to navigate recent challenges, there's some positive news: a persistent problem has finally been resolved.

Ubisoft has successfully addressed compatibility issues between several Assassin's Creed titles and the Windows 11 24H2 update. Since Fall 2024, games like Assassin's Creed Origins and Assassin's Creed Valhalla, among others, experienced malfunctions on the new OS. This has been rectified with newly released patches, announced on the Steam pages for Origins and Valhalla.

Player response to the patches has been overwhelmingly positive, with comments expressing relief and gratitude. The issue's root cause, this time, being attributed to Windows, rather than Ubisoft, has contributed to the generally positive reception. Despite this, recent reviews for both games remain "Mixed."

There's also cautious optimism surrounding Assassin's Creed Shadows. Recently delayed until March 20th to allow for further quality improvements, its launch is considered crucial for the company's future. The hope is that the game will avoid similar compatibility issues.
