"Type: Null, Ultra Beasts Join Pokemon TCG Pocket"

Author:Kristen Update:Oct 28,2025

Still missing some cards from Pokémon TCG Pocket's Celestial Guardians expansion that launched just three weeks ago? Brace yourself—another expansion is already approaching. Called Extradimensional Crisis, this new set arrives on May 29 featuring bizarre Ultra Beasts and the eerie chimera Pokémon Type: Null.

The Extradimensional Crisis expansion highlights Ultra Beasts, those otherworldly creatures from Pokémon Sun and Moon that invaded from another dimension. Confirmed cards include Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. Players can also expect more Alola Pokémon alongside those introduced in Celestial Guardians, plus Type: Null (hinting at its evolution Silvally's potential inclusion).

New expansions mean fresh collectibles—starting May 29, an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover will be available for shop tickets, while a floral display board can be obtained through the Wonder Pick event beginning June 11.

Since its debut last year, Pokémon TCG Pocket has maintained a steady expansion schedule. Though Extradimensional Crisis is technically a smaller booster set (featuring just one pack type), it follows closely behind previous releases. This marks the game's seventh expansion overall and fourth minor set alongside Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. Currently, all past expansions remain available—though that could change soon.
