"My Time at Sandrock Launches Android Beta Test Recruitment"

Exciting news for fans of farm life sim RPGs: My Time at Sandrock is coming to mobile devices! The developers at Pathea Games have announced an exclusive Android beta test, set to take place soon—but there's a catch. This beta test will only be available in China.

For those unfamiliar with the title, My Time at Sandrock is a sequel to the beloved My Time at Portia from 2019. Initially released on PC in 2023, the game has been published on Steam by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment. For the mobile test in China, Conscience Studio is taking the helm.

When Is the My Time at Sandrock Android Beta Test?

This upcoming test marks the first time My Time at Sandrock will be available on mobile platforms. Pathea Games is treating it as a technical trial to ensure the game's expansive world can transition smoothly to a mobile format. They're still fine-tuning aspects like resource loading and optimization, so participants should be prepared for some potential hiccups.

This exclusive Android beta test is scheduled to run through the Haoyou Kuaibao platform. If you're located in China and interested in participating, you can apply until January 22nd. The test itself will begin on January 23rd.

Keep in mind that your progress will be reset at the end of the beta. However, you'll have the chance to explore fresh adventures after completing the initial 30 days of in-game content, which spans the first 13 chapters. If you're in China and eager to try it out, head over to the official beta test page for more information.

What’s the Story?

Set in a post-apocalyptic desert 300 years after the catastrophic Day of Calamity, which obliterated modern technologies, My Time at Sandrock places you in the role of the town's newest Builder. Your mission? To rebuild and revitalize Sandrock using your crafting skills and tools.

Your daily life will involve gathering resources, crafting machines, forming bonds with the townsfolk, and even fending off the occasional monster. The game's distinctive, charming art style adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. Get a taste of the visual delight by watching the trailer below:
