Tears Unveils Ballad of the Dunes Event

HoYoverse's Tears of Themis unveils its latest update: "Ballad of the Dunes," a captivating collaboration with Gansu Province's Culture & Tourism. This crossover event seamlessly blends the game's signature detective work with the rich cultural heritage of Dunhuang, a city nestled on the Gobi Desert's edge.

What's New in "Ballad of the Dunes"?

This historical romance mystery unfolds amidst the ancient Silk Road's allure. The event introduces four new MR cards, one for each of the main characters (Luke, Artem, Vyn, and Marius), each inspired by Dunhuang's cultural elements – from celestial apsaras to intricate murals and the classic pipa. These cards evoke the artistry of the Mogao Caves, reflecting the Silk Road's vibrant blend of art, culture, and trade during the Western Han Dynasty.

Each card boasts a unique story: Luke's "In the Footsteps of Silk," Artem's "Serenade of the Soul," Vyn's "Reverberation Through Time," and Marius's "Void of Creation," all accompanied by Private Messages offering a glimpse into a thousand-year journey.

Event Rewards:

From February 13th to 20th, 2025, players can earn Camel Bells, S-Chips, and other rewards by completing event tasks. A core challenge involves a cell-flipping game board revealing prizes. The grand prize is the choice of one of the four new Ballad of the Dunes MR cards per round. Flipping 100 cells unlocks the exclusive "Celebration – Dunes" Namecard.
