Pokémon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over – A Stylish Showdown!

Get ready for a fashionable fight in Pokémon GO! From January 15th to 19th, Fashion Week: Taken Over brings a stylish battle against Team GO Rocket. This event offers a unique opportunity to challenge Giovanni and rescue Shadow Palkia. Furthermore, a Shadow Ho-Oh Raid Day on January 19th provides a chance to add this legendary Pokémon to your collection.

Two new Pokémon debut during this event: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai. Shroodle can be hatched from 12 km Eggs. Team GO Rocket will be more prevalent at PokéStops and in balloons, providing ample chances to use Charged TMs to remove the Frustration move from your Shadow Pokémon.

This Fashion Week introduces a fresh batch of Shadow Pokémon: Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Keep an eye out for Shiny variations! For the first time, Remote Raid Passes allow participation in Shadow Raids from anywhere.

A special research task will reward you with a Super Rocket Radar, leading to the Giovanni battle and Shadow Palkia rescue. Field Research tasks offer rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Complete a Collection Challenge to earn Stardust and encounter Trubbish. Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day, on January 19th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, increases your chances of encountering a Shiny Ho-Oh and provides extra Raid Passes. Ho-Oh caught during this window can learn the powerful Sacred Fire Charged Attack. An optional $5 event ticket unlocks even more rewards.
