Subway Surfers is celebrating its 13th anniversary this month, and SYBO has planned an exciting global event for players starting on May 12th. This anniversary marks a special milestone for the game, which has been thrilling players since its debut on May 23rd, 2012. The Game Is Heading Back to Where It All Began!

The festivities kick off in Copenhagen, the birthplace of Subway Surfers. The 13th Anniversary update introduces fresh content in the Danish capital and introduces a unique daily city-hopping challenge. Players can run through Copenhagen and unlock up to 21 other iconic cities, including Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. To advance through these destinations, you'll need to gather World Tour suitcase tokens in each city to unlock the next one.

This update also marks the 200th destination in the World Tour series, a testament to Subway Surfers' global journey that began in 2013. Currently, the game is celebrating Golden Week in Osaka, Japan, where players can experience neon lights, traditional elements, and exclusive content. New characters Saru and Oni Hime are introduced here—Saru can be unlocked through the Season Challenge, while Oni Hime is available via a special offer.
