Tales of Bloomrise Soft Launches on Android

The pixel art RPG Tales of Bloomrise has entered soft launch on Android. Developed and published by Brazilian indie studio Minelli, the game blends the charm of small-town living with dungeon exploration and various other quests.

Where can you play Tales of Bloomrise?

Currently available in Brazil, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, this free-to-play title draws design cues from both classic and modern pixel-art RPGs. As such, it will likely attract fans of games like Stardew Valley or the earlier Zelda titles.

Players take on the role of Rayy, a young adventurer safeguarding the tranquil village of Bloomrise. She also works to uncover the mysteries concealed in surrounding ruins. A simple, cheerful investigation soon grows into an epic quest filled with ancient secrets, intense combat, and surprising revelations.

Spend your daylight hours getting to know villagers with unique daily schedules while helping the community prosper. After dusk, attention turns to procedurally generated dungeons. Within these labyrinths, you'll encounter puzzles, enemies such as zombies and slimes, and hints that advance the overarching plot.

Rayy is joined by a diverse cast of characters. J. Minelli, the merchant and Rayy's spouse, supplies the initial sword needed to start your journey.

The quiet and thoughtful mayor and librarian, Victor Bloom, acts as a source of guidance. Then there's Wade Woodson, the amiable lumberjack, who provides wood and barters helpful goods.

Although the game is in early development, it already features a complete English translation. The developers have additional content planned for upcoming updates. You can download it now from the Google Play Store.
