Speed Demons 2: PC Release Announced

Radiangames has announced Speed Demons 2, a side-scrolling highway racer reminiscent of the classic Burnout series. Boasting a similar visual style and high-octane gameplay, this PC title follows the original mobile game and is slated for release later this year.

The developers highlight a unique control scheme: "Controls are focused on movement, not steering. You'll use gas, brake, and turbo buttons, while an analog stick (or mouse) controls your vehicle's vertical direction." While unconventional, they assure players it's surprisingly intuitive.

Speed Demons 2 features ten game modes, including the destructively fun Pursuit, Takedown, and Rampage—all requiring you to eliminate opponents within a time limit. For a different challenge, try Scratchless, echoing Burnout's Burning Lap mode by rewarding players for reaching the finish line with minimal car damage.
