Let Me Solo Her Tackles Bloodborne's Hardest Boss

Author:Kristen Update:Apr 16,2026

Even a casual glimpse at the legendary figure of Let Me Solo Her, one of the most recognizable players in the Elden Ring community, is enough to humble the mightiest Tarnished. Yet, even this celebrated warrior faced immense challenges against one of FromSoftware's most notorious adversaries: the Orphan of Kos from Bloodborne.

Let Me Solo Her first captured the Elden Ring community's attention in April 2022, when he emerged as a messianic figure clad only in a loincloth and a jar on his head. He provided crucial assistance to countless players struggling against the game's most infamous optional boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella.

According to his own account, he has since dedicated over 1,200 hours to the game and faced Malenia thousands of times. His extraordinary dedication earned him a legendary reputation, leading to FromSoftware presenting him with a real sword to honor his contributions.

In a recent video, Let Me Solo Her shared that after finally acquiring a PS5 to participate in the Elden Ring Nightreign playtest, he was at last able to experience the beloved action RPG Bloodborne. However, as a seasoned FromSoft veteran, he still encountered significant difficulty with some of Bloodborne's most notorious boss fights.

After adapting to the lower framerate—Elden Ring runs at 60 frames per second (fps), while Bloodborne is locked at 30 fps—the oppressive atmosphere, and even dying to the clinic werewolf (a shared experience for many), Let Me Solo Her documented his entire journey through Bloodborne and its expansion.

"Then I encountered the Orphan of Kos. Every Soulsborne game with DLC seems to feature a final boss that feels overwhelmingly powerful," he explained. "Elden Ring had Promised Consort Radahn, Dark Souls 3 had Slave Knight Gael, and Dark Souls 1 had Manus, Father of the Abyss. For Bloodborne, that boss was the Orphan of Kos."

"This boss required more attempts than any previous encounter," Let Me Solo Her added (via GamesRadar+). "It even pushed me to explore Chalice Dungeons off-stream to farm Blood Vials and bullets just to restock. Without a doubt, it's the most challenging boss in Bloodborne for me."
