Solo Leveling has taken the anime world by storm, surpassing One Piece as the anime with the most reviews on Crunchyroll and earning 13 nominations for the streaming service's 2025 Anime Awards. Nearly a year after its debut, Crunchyroll has announced a significant physical release for North American fans. A standard and limited edition Blu-ray of Solo Leveling Season 1 are now available for preorder, with a release date set for July 22.

Both editions contain all 12 episodes of the first season along with a variety of special features. However, the limited edition steelbook comes with additional Solo Leveling merchandise. While the limited edition is priced nearly $30 higher than the standard Blu-ray, discounts at the Crunchyroll Store bring their prices to nearly the same level.

Solo Leveling follows Sung Jinwoo's journey of power-scaling through a unique "System" that selects him as its sole player. The first season, which aired in early 2024, consists of 12 episodes that adapt approximately 45 chapters of the original manhwa. The second season, which concluded in March, further boosted the anime's popularity.

Amazon lists the preorder for Solo Leveling Season 1 at the full price of $90, but the Crunchyroll Store offers an exclusive 25% discount, reducing the cost of the limited edition Blu-ray to $67.49. This makes it cheaper than the standard version, which is currently listed on Amazon for $69.99. Both editions are scheduled to ship on July 22.

This physical release is likely to appeal most to dedicated fans of the series. Fortunately, the entire first season of Solo Leveling is available for free on Crunchyroll, albeit with ads. The second season is also streaming on Crunchyroll, but access is limited to Premium members.
