Rest and Recovery in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Sleep is vital in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, offering full health restoration without relying on food or potions. Here's how to find a place to rest:

Securing a Bed

Early in the game, acquiring your own bed is crucial. During the "Wedding Crashers" quest, completing either the blacksmith (Radovan) or miller (Kreyzl) questline will grant you access to a bed. Radovan's location in Tachov offers closer proximity to your starting point. After completing his smithing tutorial, you can sleep in the room adjacent to the forge.

This bed will be marked on your world map, and a nearby chest provides storage. Return here whenever you need to heal.

Utilizing Campsites

When immediate access to your bed isn't possible, numerous campsites are scattered throughout the game world. While some may be occupied by bandits (requiring prior engagement), others are empty and readily available. These campsites are marked on your map, and interacting with the bedrolls allows for rest. Note that comfort levels are lower compared to a proper bed, but they suffice in a pinch.

Sleeping in NPCs' beds is a last resort. Getting caught will lead to a confrontation with the guards unless you can successfully de-escalate the situation.
