Announced back in June 2020, with periodic teases keeping fans on the edge of their seats, skate. is finally ready for its console playtest on PlayStation and Xbox. While a PC beta date remains unannounced, registering as an Insider ensures you'll be among the first to know.

According to the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, console playtesting has been underway since at least December, possibly even September, as evidenced by recent highlight reels. However, developer Full Circle actively encourages new sign-ups, as development continues.

skate. is slated for Early Access release sometime in 2025. This marks the franchise's return after nearly a decade since Skate 3, bringing the free-to-play, live-service experience to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, Full Circle promises an "authentic evolution" of this nearly 20-year-old skateboarding series, as detailed in a previous YouTube interview.
