How To Get Shroodle in Pokemon GO

The new year in Pokémon GO is brimming with exciting new Pokémon additions! Following the arrival of Fidough, trainers can now add Shroodle to their collection, but obtaining this Toxic Mouse Pokémon isn't as simple as a standard wild encounter.

Shroodle's Pokémon GO Debut

Shroodle, originally introduced in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, makes its Pokémon GO debut on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Post-event, Shroodle will remain available.

Shiny Shroodle?

At launch, Shroodle will not have a Shiny variant in Pokémon GO. Expect its Shiny form to appear in a future event, possibly a Poison-type focused event or a Team GO Rocket event.

Catching Shroodle

Unlike many recently released Pokémon, Shroodle isn't found in the wild. The only way to obtain Shroodle is by hatching 12KM Eggs. These eggs, obtained from defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders (Sierra, Arlo, Cliff, and Giovanni), will have a chance to hatch into Shroodle. The probability may be increased during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event.

Obtaining 12KM Eggs

12KM Eggs are a rare commodity, exclusively obtained by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders or Giovanni. The Fashion Week: Taken Over event presents an ideal opportunity to stock up on these eggs, as Team GO Rocket activity will be heightened, making Rocket Radars more accessible. Remember, you can battle GO Rocket Grunts at any time to challenge the Leaders and secure a 12KM Egg (provided you have inventory space).

Grafaiai Acquisition

Grafaiai, Shroodle's evolution, also arrives on January 15th. It's not obtainable through eggs or wild encounters; evolution is the only method. Evolving a Shroodle requires 50 Shroodle Candy, necessitating multiple Shroodle hatches or using a Shroodle as your buddy Pokémon.
