Every Project Egoist style is viable, with no C or D-Tier, but a clear gap exists between S and B-Tier for offensive play. S-Tier styles dominate with overwhelming power. A-Tier styles are strong but may lack the raw strength for S or have a single move that limits them. B-Tier styles are solid but demand greater skill or specific matchups to excel. Read my analysis below, such as for Nagi, where I believe his defensive strengths shine in higher tiers.

S Tier Project Egoist Styles

Kaiser

Style & MovesRanking Explanations
project egoist kaiser style

Kaiser (Legendary – 2.5%)
Currently the top offensive style, excelling with powerful shots, unmatched mobility, and a robust defensive counter in Flow. See details for each move below.
Magnus Shot
Launch a curved shot that follows your movement direction, offering excellent range and power.
Its sharp curve, speed, and strength make it nearly impossible to block.
Kaiser Impact
A faster, longer-range, and more powerful version of Isagi’s Direct Shot.

Kaiser Impact: Strike (Awakening/Flow Variant)
An even faster, longer-range power shot, but ends Flow Awakening, preventing use with Beinschuss.
Ideal for offense with its range and power, also effective for passing.
Blitz
A rapid series of forward dashes with iFrames and active Dribble.
Best used for dribbling or paired with an R dash for extended range, making it the game’s top dash move.
Kaiser Impact Beinschuss (Awakening/Flow Only)
A powerful counter shot with iFrames that blocks opponent steals.
Perfect for defense against multiple opponents, with range and power comparable to Azure Latch.

Rin

Style & MovesRanking Explanations

Rin (Legendary – 2.5%)
The premier offensive style, featuring potent shots, top-tier mobility, and a strong Flow-based defensive counter. Details for each move follow.
Beautiful Shot
A fast, high-power curved shot with medium range.

Two Flow Variants
In Flow, it gains enhanced power, and if an opponent attempts a steal nearby, a cutscene stuns them while you shoot.
Though limited in range, its speed and sharp curve make it tough to block. Flow variants significantly boost range and power.
Occlusion Break
Execute a series of dribble dashes.
A stellar defensive move blending mobility and dribbling.
Fake Shot
A fake shot that stuns steal attempts and allows a sideways dash.
Like Nagi’s Fake Volley, it counters multiple steals effectively, enabling follow-up shots or forward dashes with Occlusion Break.
Full Burst (Awakening/Flow Only)
Stuns a nearby opponent.
Use this before shooting to neutralize nearby enemies for a safe shot.

A Tier Project Egoist Styles

Shidou

Style & MovesRanking Explanations

Shidou (Epic – 32.5%)
A formidable offensive style, ranked A-Tier due to slightly less versatility than Kaiser and Rin, but its raw shooting power via Bicycle Kick and Dragon Heel rivals S-Tier. It also boasts a top mobility move.
Bicycle Kick
Leap forward and unleash a slightly enhanced full-power shot.
Its sharp curve, speed, and power make it extremely difficult to block.
Dragon Rush
Usable twice in quick succession: first propels forward, second jumps forward while kicking the ball.
A highly versatile mobility move, allowing strategic follow-up with the second use as needed.
Dragon Heel
Spin in the air and fire an enhanced version of Isagi’s Direct Shot.
Great for dribbling or extending range post-R dash, making it one of the game’s best dashes.
Ultimate Drive (Awakening/Flow Only)
Three variants in Flow:
Variant 1: With the ball, freeze it mid-air, jump, and kick for a high-power, long-range shot.
Variant 2: With Sae’s Perfect Pass, use while the ball is airborne for an enhanced Ultimate Drive.
Variant 3: Hit while the ball is nearby and airborne for a powerful flying volley kick.
One of the most versatile Flow moves, combining high-power shots with Nagi’s Control-like functionality and Sae’s Perfect Pass synergy.

Sae

Style & MovesRanking Explanations
project egoist sae style

Sae (Legendary – 2.5%)
Despite Perfect Pass’s limitations, Sae excels with hard-to-block curved shots, superb mobility, and dribbling, ideal for defensive and support-focused playstyles.
Curve Shot
Launch a fast, steeply curved shot with medium range.
Hard to block with a quick animation, making steals challenging and effective for passing.
Magic Turn
A dual-use curved dash with iFrame/Dribble active.
Ranks just below Kaiser’s dash as one of the game’s best mobility moves.
Perfect Pass
A quick pass toward a teammate, requiring manual aiming without auto-delivery.
Unlike BLR and Azure Latch, it places the ball near the teammate’s position without auto-giving it.
Cross Elastico (Awakening/Flow Only)
Bypass an opponent and fire a high-speed, half-court range power shot.
Tricky to aim but delivers an exceptionally powerful half-court shot.

Isagi

Style & MovesRanking Explanations
project egoist isagi style

Isagi (Rare – 65%)
Despite its rarity, Isagi offers solid power shots and a mobility move that enhances dribbling and distance.
Back Heel Shot
Shuffle the ball and launch a medium-power, medium-range shot.
Disrupts opponent timing and doubles as a decent passing option.
Off-Ball Movement
A swift forward dash for mobility and dribbling.
A versatile dash for creating space and maintaining control.
Direct Shot
Fire a medium-range shot with strong power and speed.
A classic shot, best used by baiting the goalkeeper to one side and aiming for the opposite.
Blind Spot Direct Shot (Awakening/Flow Only)
An iFrame-enhanced, more powerful Direct Shot.
Aim carefully to unleash one of the game’s most potent shots.

B Tier Project Egoist Styles

Nagi

Style & MovesRanking Explanations
project egoist nagi style

Nagi (Epic – 32.5%)
Nagi shines defensively, countering Kaiser’s long-range shots with Control and strong Flow-based counters, but lacks offensive firepower and mobility for kiting.
Jumping Turn
A quick jump-and-shoot move with low range but decent power up close.
Effective within the goal’s square or half-circle lines; otherwise, it lacks range to score.
Control
Jump and steal a nearby mid-air ball.
Nagi’s standout move, perfect for intercepting goalkeeper shots or blocking long-range attacks from Kaiser and others.
Fake Volley
A fake shot with iFrames and Dribble to stun opponents attempting steals.
A great defensive tool to stun opponents when Dribble is on cooldown.
Ultimate Lift Tap (Awakening/Flow Only)
Fire a powerful shot with near half-court range.

Ultimate Lift Tap Counter Variant (Awakening/Flow Only)
Counter a steal attempt with an even stronger shot.
The go-to counter move, ideal for stunning opponents or scoring freely when alone.
