How to Get and Repair Shoes in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 05,2025

Maintaining your footwear in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is crucial; worn-out shoes leave you vulnerable. This guide details how to acquire and repair shoes within the game.

Acquiring Shoes:

While you begin with a pair, replacements are readily available. Loot chests and defeated enemies (poachers, etc.) often yield shoes. Alternatively, purchase them from vendors. Tailors offer shoes, though often with inferior stats. Cobblers, identifiable on the map by a three-red-piece-in-a-circle symbol (see image below), provide a superior selection. One such cobbler is found early in Trosky.

Cobblers, like Cobbler Matthew in Trosky, also sell horse equipment, Blacksmith’s Kits, and Cobbler’s Kits.

Repairing Shoes:

Several methods exist for shoe repair. Cobblers and blacksmiths offer repair services; the cost varies based on your Craftsmanship skill level and associated perks (providing percentage discounts).

Alternatively, self-repair is possible, contingent on your Craftsmanship skill. Insufficient skill renders repair impossible. A Cobbler’s Kit (obtainable from vendors, chests, or looted NPCs) is required for self-repair. Access the kit in your inventory; the "E" key (PC) initiates the repair menu, highlighting repairable items. Faded items indicate insufficient skill. Select items and use the interact button again to complete the repair.

This process also applies to other equipment using a Blacksmith’s Kit. However, utilizing vendor repair services remains a viable option, ensuring your gear remains in optimal condition.
