Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and game modes, along with a fresh challenge set rewarding players with freebies, including a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown.

What is Recursive Destruction?

The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This involves destroying Dracula-influenced objects that then reappear in their original state. However, not all destructible objects work; only specific ones will trigger this effect.

Locating Destructible Objects

To identify suitable objects, utilize Chrono Vision (keyboard "B" or console right D-pad). Only red-highlighted objects will trigger Recursive Destruction.

Triggering Recursive Destruction in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown

This challenge requires playing Quick Match (Midtown). Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be visible. Wait until the first checkpoint; two buildings will then appear, capable of triggering Recursive Destruction. Destroy these buildings multiple times. The reappearance might be missed in the heat of battle, but multiple hits should complete the challenge. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges involving Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
