The 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) has kicked off, featuring a massive 90,000+ competitor roster in its Open Qualifiers. This marks the first major international PUBG Mobile esports event of the year, offering a significant opportunity for aspiring players.

The Open Qualifiers, which commenced February 13th, provide a pathway for newcomers to compete for a place in the PMGO Main Event. A substantial $500,000 prize pool is up for grabs, demanding exceptional skill and teamwork from competing squads. The amateur-only format ensures fresh talent gets the spotlight.

Teams boasting at least one Ultimate 500-ranked player (Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21) have already advanced to Round 2. Upcoming weeks will see intense battles for a spot in the PMGO Prelims, where they'll face off against top teams from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers.

ytTwelve teams will ultimately emerge from the Prelims to challenge the world's best professional PUBG Mobile players in the Main Event. Four professional teams—Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy, 4Merical Vibes, and Influence Rage—have already secured their Main Event spots based on their impressive PMGC 2024 performances. Four additional teams will qualify through regional competitions, including PMSL SEA Spring, PMGO Korea Qualifier, and the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season.

The Open Qualifiers conclude March 2nd, followed by the Prelims (April 10th-11th) and the Main Event (April 12th-13th). This tournament signals the beginning of a thrilling year for PUBG Mobile Esports, with the PUBG Mobile World Cup and PMGC returning later in 2025.
