Pokémon TCG Pocket Adds Trading, Launches Expansion

Pokémon TCG Pocket's highly anticipated trading feature arrives January 29th! A brand-new expansion, Space-Time Smackdown, follows on January 30th.

Get ready to trade! This long-awaited feature lets you exchange cards with friends, adding a new layer of social interaction to the digital experience. Trade hourglasses and tokens will manage trades, enhancing the authenticity of the game.

Space-Time Smackdown introduces fan-favorite Pokémon from the Sinnoh region. Two new digital booster packs feature legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia.

Beyond the legendaries, other popular Pokémon like Lucario and the Sinnoh starter trio (Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup) join the roster. These can be obtained through Wonder Pick or standard booster packs.

This update promises to be a major hit, especially with the addition of these beloved Pokémon. While some initial concerns about the trading mechanics exist, developers have pledged ongoing adjustments to ensure a smooth experience.
