He humorously referenced Pokémon Sleep's unlikely competitive debut (following an April Fool's joke trailer), emphasizing that while they remain open to future possibilities, there are no immediate plans for Pokémon TCG Pocket's inclusion.

Early Stages and Balancing Concerns

While no official reasons have been given, fan speculation points to the game's relative youth (only four months old as of February 2025, with two sets released since its October 2024 launch) and ongoing balance issues. Although in-app competitive features exist, players have voiced concerns about balancing, impacting the viability of a competitive scene.
