Pokemon GO Adding Galar Pokemon in Upcoming Event

The Steely Resolve event in Pokémon GO brings the highly anticipated Corviknight evolutionary line—Rookidee, Corvisquire, and Corviknight—to the game on January 21st. This follows a teaser in the December 2024 Dual Destiny Season loading screen, which piqued player interest.

The event, running from 10 AM on January 21st to 8 PM on January 26th (local time), includes a new Dual Destiny Special Research with rewards. Magnetic Lure Modules will attract Pokémon like Onix and Beldum, and Shadow Pokémon can unlearn Frustration using Charged TMs. Increased spawns of ten Pokémon, including Clefairy, Paldean Wooper, and Carbink, are also planned.

• Bonuses: 4x Stardust from win rewards (excluding end-of-set rewards); increased daily battle set limit to 20 (100 battles total); free battle-themed Timed Research with Grimsley-inspired avatar shoes; varied Attack, Defense, and HP stats for Pokémon encountered in GO Battle League rewards.
• Active Leagues: Master League, Color Cup: Great League Edition, Great League, Ultra League, and Master League (denotes 4x Stardust bonus).
